Secured by competitive tender a development of six flats and two three storey houses built for Newlon Housing Trust and officially opened in September 1990 by Clive Solley MP the then Shadow Housing Minister, assisted by local MP Peter Shore. 

This compact inner city site is dominated by an large patent glazed sun loggia, supported by extended precast concrete wide plank flooring and circular concrete columns, which provides a secure, weatherproof and airy enclosure. Works also included beam and block ground floors,precast concrete stairs, trussed roof structures, specialist joinery, wrap around windows, disabled lift, coded entry systems, metal balconies external fencing and much more.
