2 Victoria Rise, Clapham SW4

This innovative mews development of 10No flats and communal amenity facilities was designed and built for the South London Family Housing Association on a postage stamp of a site.

Built of traditional construction off deep strip concrete foundations with beam and block floors, precast concrete staircases and trussed roofs to high insulation standards within a secure, enclosed courtyard setting. Low maintenance costs are achieved by the use of UPVC fascias & soffites, double glazed windows and self coloured insulated panels. Exposed steel support work provides a different look and is softened by the numerous planting boxes and landscaping. 50mm thick “Streamline” fibre-cement partitions with wrap around door linings have been used to good effect throughout to attain the maximum usable floor space within units.
